How can you get your audio files to me?
A couple of ways. If you have a secure FTP server, I can download the files from your server. Or, I can set you up on a password protected server with my website host and you can upload your files to our server.
After the transcript is done, I'll email it back to you or put it on the FTP server for you to download.

Do you outsource any of your work offshore?
No, I don't. I handle most all of the work personally but I do have a few other US-based transcriptionists to help out and they've worked with me for several years. I will also review any of the transcripts they do before I send them to you.
So how much will this cost me? Is it worth it to even have my webinar or video transcribed?
Sure it is! The search engines scour the web and spiders crawl your site looking for content, text, not video or audio files. So it's always a good thing for Internet marketers to have a text copy on their websites for people to download and read later, or just to read along with an audio or podcast.
And our rates are very affordable! Are we cheaper than offshore transcription services? No, sorry, we're not. But if you want the best, just like with your Internet marketing tools, you may need to lay out some cash - but not a lot, I promise.
We start at $1.75 per audio minute. That's the flat rate for any type of audio, no matter what you send us - as long as it's in English, mind you. We don't charge extra for verbatim over cleaned up transcripts and we don't charge extra for rush jobs.
Flat rate, regardless if it's audio or video, from an interview or a webinar, one speaker or multiple speakers. $1.75 per audio minute.
So for one hour of audio, you'll pay $105.00. Yes, some other transcription services may charge less for a flat rate, but they also may tack on extra fees for spelling, grammar, punctuation, editing, and so forth. We don't.
What does that $105 include?
- Transcribing your audio into text.
- Formatting into a Word document or a plain text file.
- Spelling, grammar, punctuation.
- Research for industry terms if needed.
- Converting the file into a pdf.
What do you charge extra for?
Not much really. For each one hour of audio I charge …
- $5.00 flat fee for SEO optimization
- $5.00 flat fee to code the html so it's ready to add to your website.
What payment methods do you accept?
I can accept any major credit card through PayPal, even if you don't have a PayPal account yourself.
